Western Dressage

This year, the Ottawa Dressage Festival adds western style dressage to its show. This new equestrian discipline merges classical dressage principles with western riding techniques.

The show is sanctioned by both Equestrian Canada (Bronze competition) and the Western Style Dressage Association of Canada (WSDAC). Rules of both organizations apply to riders and horse competing in these classes.

Classes are Test of Choice: Riders may ride any test (Test 1, 2, 3, 4) for any of the following levels: Introductory, Basic, Levels 1 – 5. For the Freestyle Test of Choice class, riders may select any level of Freestyle to ride.

Entries open March 11 to May 11: â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹https://equestrian-hub.com/
